Phillips Brewery

Tenant Improvement
2000 Government St, Victoria
Complete
EDDA's first project. The original tasting room was one of Victoria's first large-scale brewery tasting rooms, and permitting it took nearly as much work as building it. The building was fully gutted and excavated almost 6 feet throughout to make room for new structure and bright tanks above the bar. Guests can see into the working bottling line, and a retail area keeps the brewery part of the visit. EDDA has kept working on the space since, most recently adding a full restaurant kitchen, new washrooms, a reworked bar, a window banquette and an adjoining event space. Designed by EDDA with the Phillips team. Graphic and neon sign design by Artificial Flavour Graphic Engineering, traditional sign writing by Dobell Sign Co, neon tube bending and fabrication by Triad Signs.
